Welcome to maaip.ca (the “Site”), operated by the Manitoba Association of AI Professionals (MAAIP) in Winnipeg, Manitoba. To provide the Site and membership: Operate maaip.ca, the member directory, and admin tools hosted with our cloud provider, with member data in PostgreSQL.
To communicate with you: Reply to inquiries, send membership messages, and run email campaigns you can unsubscribe from.
To understand usage: Google Analytics 4 helps us see which pages are used. We do not use that data to sell ads.

4. Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with processors who run the Site and email on our behalf (hosting, database, analytics, and Resend). We may disclose information to comply with law or protect rights.

5. Security

We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, and access-controlled admin tools. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

6. Your Rights and Choices

MAAIP is based in Manitoba. You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold, or ask us to close a membership account, by emailing hi@maaip.ca. You can opt out of campaign email via the unsubscribe link in those messages.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

8. International Data Transfers

Processors (including analytics and email) may store data on servers outside Manitoba. By using the Site you understand that information may be processed in those locations.
